Hello Fellow 4th Ward residents!

My name is Troy Parker.  I am currently campaigning to represent you as your City Council person in the 4th Ward of Minneapolis.  

I would like to introduce myself to those of you that may not know me and provide you with some background information about myself in hopes of gaining your support.  

I believe that together we can change the direction in which the 4th Ward, and the City of Minneapolis, is headed.  

We have a Ward, and a City, that is full of intelligent people with great ideas; but many of our elected officials choose not to consider the input and visions of our residents.  Our City officials need to understand and deal with the neighborhood organizations, the fact that there is little, or no businesses on the North side, falling property values, rising taxes, neighborhoods scattered with foreclosed properties and residents struggling with mortgages.  

I do understand that we are facing unprecedented times throughout the entire nation, but even prior to our struggling economy, our neighborhoods were neglected and little, if any, development dollars were spent to better our quality of life. 

 I am here to offer you a choice:  Continue enduring the treatment we have been accustomed to for years, OR refresh our community with new ideas, passion, commitment and development for our ward.  

If we can work hard together to elect me as your 4th Ward City Council person, your voice will be heard, and your issues will be addressed. 

 I hope this information about me gives you an idea of who I am and the commitment I will bring as your designated member of our City Council.
